In Europe, the driver is regulation. The EU's Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) will require item-level transparency across most goods entering the market. Great Product handles serialization per unit, material composition tracking, customs documentation, chain-of-custody coverage and GS1 Digital Link integration.
In the United States, the driver is distance between maker and buyer. The same record becomes the loyalty program, giving producers:
